Download the extension zip from your account's Capture Setup page. For Chrome, go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer Mode, and click Load Unpacked. For Firefox, go to about:debugging → This Firefox → Load Temporary Add-on and select the manifest.json file.

Sign into Job Odyssey, then navigate to /capture-setup. Your personal capture token will be displayed — copy it and paste it into the extension popup when prompted. The token is tied to your account and never expires.

The extension works on most career pages including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, and LinkedIn. A small number of sites block all browser extensions from running. If a site blocks the extension, the popup will display a message explaining why and suggest alternatives.

Fit scoring requires a resume on file. Go to your Profile tab and upload or paste your resume text. Once saved, any future captures will be scored automatically. You can also run a manual Fit Check on any existing lead from the leads list.

OdysseyVal™ uses Claude AI to evaluate four dimensions: Experience Level, Skills Match, Industry Fit, and Scope Alignment. Weights are dynamically determined by the role type — a senior IC role weights skills heavier than scope, while a leadership role inverts that. The result is a single 0–100 score with a breakdown you can drill into.

Yes — Job Odyssey is a responsive web app that works on mobile browsers. The browser extension is desktop-only (Chrome and Firefox on Mac/Windows/Linux). Mobile job capture is coming in a future update.
